Turban Tying

Turban tying is a meticulous, culturally significant art, often representing pride, honor, and faith & the art of wrapping long pieces of fabrics such as cotton or silk—around the head to create a secure head covering (dastar, pagg, or pagri) often worn for religious devotion, cultural identity, or protection of uncut hair. It involves layering, pinning, and tucking fabric to create specific, often geometric styles.
This activity is designed for male guests, where the cultural significance and importance of the turban are first explained. This is followed by a demonstration of how a turban is tied. Guests are also provided with a booklet containing detailed literature on the history and significance of turban.
At the end of the session, the same turban is gifted to the guests.
