Block Printing Workshop

Block printing is an ancient, meticulous, and artistic method of textile design that uses hand-carved wooden blocks to stamp intricate patterns onto fabric. Primarily celebrated in India—particularly in Rajasthan and Gujarat—this slow, labor-intensive process brings together human skill and natural materials to create unique textiles with a “living” quality.

It is a hands-on journey that combines heritage, creativity, and the joy of making, frequently leaving visitors with a deep appreciation for slow, handcrafted fashion.

The block printing workshop begins with a visit to the factory, where guests are introduced to the complete process. They will learn how wooden blocks are crafted, including the intricate carving techniques involved.

This is followed by a demonstration of the printing process, where guests will also get a chance to participate.

Next, they will be guided through the stitching process. Each guest will create their own printed stole,which they can take home upon completion
